Cartmel Racecourse offers two types of tickets: Paddock Enclosure and Course Enclosure. The Paddock Enclosure contains the Grandstand and Paddock, Parade Ring/Winners Enclosure, Marquee Village and the Louis Roederer Restaurant. The main racecourse office is also located in this Enclosure. If you hold a Paddock Enclosure ticket you are available to move freely over to the Course Enclosure at the track crossing point. But you are not allowed to crossing when horses are on the course. The Course Enclosure is situated on the opposite side of the finishing straight from the Paddock. The main features of this Enclosure are the fairground, trade stands and market stalls. With a Paddock Ticket or Upgrade Ticket, you can transfers to the Paddock Enclosure at the track crossing point.

Where can I eat?
The Louis Roederer Restaurant is located on the first floor of the Grandstand (within the Paddock Enclosure) that serves for racegoers all day and the package includes a welcome drink, a three course meal and afternoon tea. The Conservatory Restaurant is based in the hospitality marquee which runs parallel to the finishing straight in the Paddock Enclosure. It will provide racegoers with an extensive Buffet Lunch and the table is yours for the whole day. Also you can real-ales, fish & chips, prime quality beef burgers, bacon rolls, ice cream, etc in the Winster Valley Brewery Real Ale Tent.
Where can I park?
Car parking in the Paddock Enclosure is limited and costs £6 per car. Course car park - whilst overflow and 7 Acres parking is free, a charge of £6 per car will be charged for cars wishing to park within the course enclosure on all racedays.
