What are eligible Vehicles at GEM Motoring Assist?Eligible Vehicle means private cars, vans with a GVW up to 2500 kgs and motorcycles. Motor caravans and motor homes will only be covered if they have a GVW up to 3500kg, do not exceed 7 metres (23 feet) in length and 2.3 metres in width (including any extra fitments). HGVs (Heavy Goods Vehicles, LCVs (Light Commercial Vehicles) and minibuses are not acceptable.
Will the caravan or trailer be covered?
If your vehicle breaks down, any attached caravan or small trailer being used for private purposes will be entitled to the same service as the vehicle. In the event of a breakdown to the caravan or trailer being towed, they will recover it to the nearest garage or your preferred location if closer.
